By using Cap City Buzz, subscribing to the newsletter, submitting an event, contacting us, or requesting advertising, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Use the site only for lawful purposes. Please do not disrupt the site, misuse forms, submit spam, impersonate another person or organization, or interfere with other users.

Cap City Buzz is a local events and newsletter site. It is not an official event organizer, venue, municipal resource, emergency alert service, crime watch, political publication, or source of record.

Cap City Buzz makes a good-faith effort to share accurate local event information, but event details may change after publication.

Event details can change. Please confirm times, locations, prices, age suitability, cancellation status, and venue policies with the organizer or venue before attending.

Some event information may come from public listings, organizers, venues, social media posts, submitted forms, newsletters, public websites, or other third-party sources. Cap City Buzz is not responsible for errors, omissions, outdated info, changes, cancellations, or representations made by third parties.

Unless clearly stated, Cap City Buzz is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to the venues, performers, businesses, organizers, municipalities, or events listed on the site.

Tags and categories such as Kids' Corner, family friendly, live music, trivia, nightlife, free, paid, outdoor, and similar labels are provided for convenience only. They may be based on submitted info, public event descriptions, venue listings, or editorial judgment. Cap City Buzz does not guarantee that every category perfectly fits every attendee, child, family, or situation.

Where helpful, Cap City Buzz may use software, automation, or AI-assisted tools to help organize, summarize, categorize, or prepare event listings for review. Public-facing content should still be reviewed before publication when practical, but Cap City Buzz does not claim every summary, category, or listing detail is perfect or official.

Submitted events are reviewed before inclusion and do not publish automatically. Cap City Buzz may accept, decline, edit, shorten, summarize, categorize, schedule, promote, remove, or update submissions at its discretion.

By submitting an event, business, image, link, description, or other content, you confirm you have the right to submit it and give Cap City Buzz permission to edit, summarize, categorize, publish, promote, reject, or remove it.

Cap City Buzz may edit submissions for clarity, length, formatting, tone, accuracy, and audience fit.

Images may be submitted by organizers, sourced from public promotional materials, uploaded by advertisers, or provided through approved sources.

If you believe an image, logo, or media asset was used improperly, email hello@capcitybuzz.com with the page URL, asset, and reason for review, and Cap City Buzz will evaluate correction or removal.

Sponsored placements are clearly labeled. Cap City Buzz may edit advertiser-provided copy for length, clarity, formatting, and audience fit, but advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of their own claims, offers, prices, deadlines, and promotional details.

Local Spotlight will be a paid featured placement unless otherwise stated. Sponsored features will be clearly labeled when they go live.

Featured events, advertiser placements, Local Spotlight features, sponsored banners, newsletter sponsor blocks, and paid promotions should be clearly labeled where they appear with labels such as Sponsored, Featured Placement, Paid Local Spotlight, or Advertisement.

Payment links or checkout flows may be provided through Stripe. A paid placement is not live until accepted and confirmed by Cap City Buzz. Cap City Buzz may decline or remove placements that are misleading, unlawful, inappropriate for readers, or inconsistent with the publication.

When you sign up for the newsletter, you agree to receive emails from Cap City Buzz. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in newsletter emails.

Newsletter subject lines and preview text should describe the issue plainly. The newsletter may include sponsored or advertiser content, and it does not guarantee that every event is accurate, current, available, or a fit for every reader.

See something wrong? Event details change fast. Email us at hello@capcitybuzz.com with the event name, correction, and source link, and we'll review it as soon as we can.

Cap City Buzz will review correction requests as soon as practical, but event organizers, venues, ticketing pages, and official sources remain the best places to confirm current details before attending.

The site and newsletter are provided for general local information. Cap City Buzz does not promise uninterrupted service, error-free content, specific advertising results, or that every submitted event will be included.

Nothing on Cap City Buzz should be treated as an emergency alert, official public notice, municipal guidance, legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or a complete source of record.

Cap City Buzz may update these terms as the site, newsletter, advertising products, or services change. The effective date above shows when this version was last updated.
